ESSENTIAL WORKSHOP SERIES

ages 4-7
$200.00 per child

4 hour workshop *kidz:-) and tweenz:-) typically run simultaneously, but are led by separate instructors

**up to 8 students per group

 

 

During this fun and engaging workshop, children learn vital social interaction and communication skills through interactive lessons, games, role-play, and a mini-excursion. The workshop includes a "socialsklz:-) dinner party" and an excursion where students use an "out and about checklist" to navigate every aspect of being out in public.

  • How to make the impression we want to make when meeting others
  • Non verbal aspects of a first impression-eye contact, smile and use good body language
  • How to shake hands properly
  • How to introduce him/herself to peers and adults
  • How to effectively make and receive phone calls

 

go out and about

  • How to use stellar social skills in public
  • Being mindful, organized, aware, prepared, on-time and responsible
  • How and who to engage with in public
  • How to host, attend play dates and be a good friend

*During our NYC workshop, instructors will take kids out for 10 minutes to practice social skills in public
